Agoutis
All the agouti-based colors have different colors to each shaft of hair, this is called 'ticking'. An argente for
example has a blue-grayish base of the hair and the yellow/orange tip of the hair.
Agouti:

Argente:
(pink-eyed agouti)- This baby is also rex, satin and broken marked (white markings).

Opal:
(blue agouti)- looks very close to a standard blue, but the individual hairs are ticked
Lynx:
(Silver agouti)

Other
Note: The gene that causes pink eyes affects the color of the coat. A pink-eyed black does not look black anymore
because the pink-eyed gene dilutes the color of the coat. In a similar manner, dilutes on the c-locus can and often do dilute
a color to a lighter version of itself. An example would be that a c-locus dilute can cause black to look like a very dark
brown. Often what is expected in a litter color-wise can be affected by c-locus dilutes.
Questions about this can be posted on the Forum or you may e-mail me about it.
The two dark brown looking babies are actually black with a c-locus dilute (probably extreme dilution):
